I am passionate about helping organizations increase their capacity to successfully navigate complexity - internal and external. I have been told that I masterfully facilitate teams in examining their default habits, noticing polarities that create stalemate, and cultivating conditions for seeing and shifting harmful dynamics. As an insightful and collaborative change agent, I incorporate strategies and interactions that challenge old narratives, promote diversity of thought, and tap into the inherent wisdom of my brilliant clients.
I work with leaders and teams at all levels to (re)connect them to their values and practice courageous and authentic behaviors. I appreciate my ability to quickly break down barriers to create a safe environment for honest dialogue and experimentation with new ways of seeing and leading. I approach this work with a down-to-earth style with an ability to cut through BS (without causing defensiveness), deep compassion, humor and courage which tends to empower leaders and teams to liberate themselves from self-limiting beliefs and fear-based thinking and lead with clarity, congruence and connection.
My organizational consulting and coaching background is deep and wide having worked with a wide cross-section of industries and leadership levels for over 25 years. Whether helping leaders and teams: interact with authenticity, transparency, courage and compassion; explore and expand how they make meaning and understand the world; design interactive, thought provoking engagements, I am deeply committed to the work of human transformation and transcendence, including my own!
My formal education includes a Masters in Organization Development (Sonoma State), a Masters in Adult Education (Harvard) and a Professional Certified Coach Credential from the International Coaching Federation.
My heart and home are in Davis, California where I live with my room-mate…I mean…teenaged daughter (the joy of my life) and my poorly trained, but lovable, dog. When not evoking the innate greatness in my clients, you can find me playing in the wilderness, perusing farmer markets, gardening, and embarking on adventures big and small.
